Welcoming Maxime de Varine-Bohan to Alpera

We are delighted to introduce Maxime de Varine-Bohan, who joins Alpera as Principal, with responsibility for shaping and leading the firm’s Buy & Build practice.

A Career Built Across Investment and M&A

Maxime began his career as an equity analyst at Skylar before moving into M&A. He then spent five years as an investor with Labruyère Développement & Industries and Founders Future, where he gained direct experience in growth and consolidation strategies across multiple sectors.

Prior to joining Alpera, he worked at Famille C Participations, the family office of the Courtin family, further strengthening his expertise in entrepreneurial and family-backed investment models.

Academic Foundations

Maxime holds an engineering degree from EPF École d’Ingénieurs and a MsC in Corporate Finance from Université Paris-Dauphine – PSL.
