Comet Software Expands with the Acquisition of SAIGA Informatique

Comet Software is proud to announce the acquisition of SAIGA Informatique, publisher of iMuse, a leading management solution used by more than 600 performing arts and fine arts institutions, including conservatories, music, dance, and theater schools, as well as visual arts academies.

Strengthening a diversified portfolio of vertical software

SAIGA Informatique develops iMuse, a comprehensive management solution supporting more than 600 arts education institutions: conservatories and schools of music, dance, theater, and fine arts.

Preserving expertise, accelerating growth

This acquisition marks another important step in our ambition to build a leading group of vertical software publishers. We look forward to supporting SAIGA Informatique in its long-term development while respecting its entrepreneurial DNA and strong commitment to its clients.

Comet Software now brings together seven leading vertical software publishers across sectors including pharmacy, retail, financial services, carpentry, packaging, and arts education. The group employs nearly 200 people and generates more than €20 million in revenue.

About Comet Software

Based in Paris, Comet Software is a group of vertical software publishers operating under a decentralized model where each subsidiary retains its operational autonomy. Co-founded with Alpera Partners, Comet Software supports its companies in their commercial and operational growth while offering their leaders the opportunity to become co-shareholders of the group. The group currently generates €14 million in consolidated revenue with an EBITDA margin above 30% and serves more than 5,000 clients.

About Alpera Partners

Working alongside bold entrepreneurs, Alpera Partners creates, develops, and scales the leading groups of tomorrow through roll-up platforms.

Each year, Alpera Partners invests more than €80 million in equity to consolidate micro-cap companies in fragmented, high-growth markets and support their growth both organically and through acquisitions. Its focus sectors include healthcare, industry, business services, and real estate.

As of February 2025, Alpera Partners has launched four roll-up platforms in hospitality (Otelium), nuclear (Alfeor), healthcare (Enosium Life Science), and vertical software (Comet Software). These complement its established platform in veterinary healthcare (Novavet).
